Pricing
SEO prices, on the page, the same for every business
Three monthly tiers at £399, £599 and £799, a 3-month minimum then monthly, and a full written audit at £150 that is credited against the first month. Every tier includes the technical care, the profile, a monthly piece of work from your query data, and a two-page report from Search Console written by the person who did the work. What moves the price is how many areas or product lines need their own evidence and how much new content a month; nothing else does. One business per town and sector on the Local tier, confirmed personally in the reply.
Tier 1

£399 /month
- Technical fixes first: indexing, speed, titles, broken links
- Google Business Profile built and kept current
- Service pages rewritten to answer the searches people make
- Monthly Search Console report, written by the person who did the work
Most businesses
Growth
Several towns or service lines, or one market with established competitors
£599 /month
- Everything in Local
- One new page or guide every month, from real query data
- Mentions and citations on directories and trade bodies that matter
- Quarterly technical pass and an AI-readiness check
Tier 3

£799 /month
- Everything in Growth
- Separate pages and profiles per location or product line

One-off, no retainer
Full SEO audit: £150, within 5 working days
A written audit of your website, your Google Business Profile and the three competitors above you, for a business that wants the diagnosis before it decides on a retainer. The £150 is credited against your first month if you go ahead within 60 days.
- Indexing: which of your pages Google has, which it has dropped, and why
- Crawl and structure: redirects, duplicates, orphan pages, canonical errors
- Speed on a phone, measured with PageSpeed Insights, with the three fixes that matter most
- Titles and descriptions: which pages are shown and not clicked
- Search Console query data: what you already rank for at positions 5 to 20
- Google Business Profile: category, services, hours, reviews, against the map pack leaders
- The three competitors above you and what their pages do that yours do not
- AI-readiness: whether ChatGPT and Google AI can read and cite your pages
- Structured data, checked with Google's own validator
- A prioritised list: what to fix this month, what to build next, what to leave alone
Does it pay?
Your own numbers, not ours
Type in what a new customer is worth to you, the share of enquiries you turn into customers, and how many extra customers a month you are after. The calculator shows what the retainer has to produce and how many enquiries a month is break-even.
- Enquiries needed each month
- 14
- What those customers are worth
- £3,600
- Against Local at £399 a month
- 9.0x
- Enquiries a month to break even
- 2
Your figures, your maths. The calculator does not predict what Google will send; the audit estimates that for your market. It shows what the retainer has to produce to be worth paying for, which is the number to hold us to.
What moves the price
Two things, and neither is the size of your business
The first is how many areas, service lines or product lines need their own evidence. Each one is a page written properly, mentions that name it, and (for a location) a profile or reviews from there. One is Local. Several, built one at a time in the order the query data suggests, is Growth. Several with their own profiles or catalogue sections is Multi-area.
The second is how much new content a month. One page or guide a month builds steadily; two builds faster and costs more because a person writes each one after a call with you. There is no third factor. Turnover, staff count and how competitive the market is do not change the monthly figure; competition changes the timescale, and the audit says so.
Never in the price
Six things you will not find in any tier
- A set-up fee. The audit is the set-up.
- A contract past three months. Month four is monthly.
- A ranking guarantee. Nobody controls Google; we guarantee the work, listed, and the numbers, shared.
- Outsourced writing. Every page is written here after a conversation with you.
- Town pages on a template. We build the areas you have evidence for, one at a time.
- Bought links, bought reviews or review gating. All three break Google's rules; the last breaks UK consumer law.
How to judge it
The three dates written into every proposal
By month four, impressions in Search Console rising for the searches named in the proposal. By month six, enquiries you can trace to the work, and a written judgement from us on whether it is on track. By month twelve, the enquiries covering the cost several times over. If the month-six judgement is that it is not working, we say so before you do, and we say what we would change or whether to stop.
The reasoning behind what SEO should cost, and what to ask any company that quotes you, is in the guide on how much to spend.
Questions about pricing
Is our town and sector still free?
The reply to the quote form confirms it personally. One business per town and sector on the Local tier, and the first to start keeps it. On Growth and Multi-area the check is by sector and product category rather than by town.
Why a three-month minimum?
Month one is fixes and set-up, and nothing can be judged from it. Three months is the shortest period in which impressions move in Search Console for the searches we target, and it is the honest minimum. From month four it is monthly with a month's notice.
What is not in the price?
Google Ads spend, paid by you to Google directly. A new website, quoted separately from £599 where the current one cannot rank. Paid directory subscriptions. Photography, because the photographs must be of your business. A Welsh or other translation by a human translator, invoiced by the translator.
Is there a set-up fee?
No. The audit is the set-up and it is free with a quote. Month one is heavier on our side and that is priced into the tier, not added on.
Can we move between tiers?
At any month end, either way. Most businesses start on Local and move to Growth when the first area or service line is working and they want the next one.
Does a competitive market cost more?
No. A competitive market takes longer, not more money a month, and the audit says how long so you decide with your eyes open. Charging more for a harder market and promising the same timescale is the pattern to be wary of elsewhere.
Is VAT included?
Prices are shown without VAT. The quote states the VAT position.
Start with the free audit; the quote comes with it
You get where the site stands, the three competitors above you, the tier we would recommend and why, and confirmation that your town and sector are free. Then you decide.
